Is the global approach to migration broken?

With more nations taking steps to tighten their borders and more people on the move than ever before, perhaps no force in today’s world is as polarizing as global migration. This panel discussion will bring together journalists from The New York Times and leading academics to debate and discuss the tensions, challenges and possibilities surrounding global migration.

This event is running in partnership with Hard Truths, an exhibition of prize-winning photography from The New York Times, which will be officially launched on 12 September.

Guests attending the panel discussion are invited to visit the exhibition in the Arts West Atrium from 5.45pm and meet some of the New York Times journalists. The panel discussion will commence at 6.30pm in the Forum Theatre.

Hard Truths will be on display in the Arts West Atrium from 12 September – 11 October.
