Presenter: Yoland Wadsworth, Sociologist Author, Adjunct Professor RMIT University (Honorary)

Presenting highlights from four decades of the social science career of Yoland Wadsworth, author of Australia’s best-selling research and evaluation books Do It Yourself Social Research and Everyday Evaluation on the Run – with customary engaging style (and cartoons!) Yoland will show how these many years of practice-based co-inquiry culminated in a cutting-edge transdisciplinary theory for Building in Research and Evaluation: Human Inquiry for Living Systems.

In contrast to the ‘paradigm wars’ or their continuing separate methodological successor ‘bubbles’, this new ‘mental architecture’ offers an integrated social science of how we inquire (or meta-epistemology) to bring life to everything we do: individually and socially in groups, communities, institutions, ‘eco-nomies’ and societies.
